Fastlink Import Trailer Process:
1. Goods are transported by the first leg carrier to Hong Kong and unloaded at the Hong Kong port CY (Container Yard).
2. The trailer department of the first leg carrier's Hong Kong company notifies the consignee and arranges the trailer delivery date and the handover of customs declaration documents.
3. After import declaration and customs release, the trailer company picks up the container from the CY (within HKG) on the day of or the day before transport, crosses the border, and delivers it to the unloading point in Mainland China.
4. Return the empty container to the depot of the Hong Kong first leg carrier to complete the import operation.
Fastlink Export Trailer Process:
1. Fastlink trailers arrange to pick up empty containers and deliver them to the loading location at the specified date and time according to factory instructions.
2. The client's customs personnel handle export customs clearance; after release by Customs, the goods exit the country and are delivered to the designated return location in Hong Kong.
3. The trailer driver submits the terminal receipt (tail paper) to the shipping line. (Tail paper is an important voucher for returning the container to the terminal and a key document for obtaining the ocean bill of lading).
4. The client provides accurate shipment data to the shipping line to issue the B/L; the export operation is completed once the vessel is On Board.
5. The client (or the entrusted trailer company) must truthfully declare to the Hong Kong government in a timely manner (15 working days prior to the vessel's departure).
