FedEx International Express Pricing
1. Please visit the Fastlink Logistics homepage to query FedEx rates: http://www.PFCexpress.com;
2. FedEx volumetric weight calculation formula: Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) / 5000. Charges are based on the greater of the volumetric weight or the actual weight.
3. Prices queried on the Fastlink Logistics website are base freight for general cargo and do not include other fees (remote area surcharge, destination duties, return fees, etc.).
4. Fastlink Logistics FedEx service prices offer discounts compared to FedEx official published rates.
5. Basic freight published for Fastlink Logistics FedEx services does not include handling fees, fuel surcharges, or other ancillary charges.
FedEx International Express Surcharges
1. Remote Area Surcharge:
Shipments to remote areas incur a surcharge. Reference fee: 4.4 RMB/KG * (1 + current month's fuel) or 200 RMB * (1 + current month's fuel), whichever is higher.
Final remote surcharge will be based on the Hong Kong FedEx invoice; since FedEx bills are sometimes issued late, the validity period for bills is one year.
2. Remote areas can be queried on the official FedEx HK website: http://images.fedex.com/us/services/pdf/Zipcodes_OPA_ODA.pdf
3. Fuel Surcharge:
FedEx fuel rates are subject to the official rates published by FedEx. Fastlink Logistics will announce the official Hong Kong FedEx fuel rate for the next month and its specific effective date at the end of each month.
4. Address Change Fee changed to: 107 RMB/shipment * (1 + current month's fuel).
Since FedEx bills the shipper for recipient address change fees, the final address change cost will be based on the FedEx invoice.
5. Residential Delivery Surcharge: 33 RMB/shipment * (1 + current month's fuel).
A residential surcharge applies to shipments to the US and Canada (effective January 17, 2011). Fastlink Logistics will charge customers based on the Hong Kong FedEx invoice.
If a Remote Area Delivery Surcharge has already been applied, this Residential Surcharge does not apply.
FedEx International Express Tracking
1. Tracking website: http://www.fedex.com/
2. After customers hand over packages to Fastlink Logistics during the day, we process them in the evening and arrange dispatch to the FedEx warehouse the next morning. Normally, customers can track Hong Kong FedEx collection information on the official website by the afternoon of the second day after handover.
3. FedEx International Express tracking method: Log in to http://www.fedex.com/ and enter the FedEx tracking number.
FedEx International Express Duties
1. Subject to duties incurred at the destination country (generally, higher declared value results in higher duties; if the declared value is excessively lower than the actual value, it may also result in high penalty duties).
2. Duties and clearance fees at the destination are typically paid by the recipient. If duties and clearance fees have been incurred and the recipient refuses to pay within the time limit set by FedEx, these costs will be forcibly transferred to the shipper. Specific costs will be based on FedEx customer service notifications or FedEx invoices.
FedEx Express Claims
1. Fragile items must be packed securely by the customer; otherwise, we assume no responsibility for breakage. In case of loss or damage during transit, compensation will reference the declared value stated on the commercial invoice (or proforma invoice) provided with the shipment. Compensation will be for the actual lost or damaged portion, but the maximum compensation per shipment shall not exceed 100 USD. We assume no liability for consequential losses caused by loss, damage, or delay of express shipments. Customers requiring additional security may purchase cargo insurance.
2. Any declared value provided by the shipper differing from that on the original commercial invoice (or proforma invoice) accompanying the goods will not be recognized.
3. Please report incidents to us within 10 days of occurrence and submit a written claim letter; otherwise, claims will not be accepted. We also assume no responsibility or costs arising from flight delays or flight space issues.
FedEx Express Returns
1. Return freight costs to Hong Kong FedEx will be based on the Hong Kong FedEx invoice. If the shipper requires the package to be returned to Shenzhen, additional freight from Hong Kong to Shenzhen will apply; please consult our customer service for specific costs.
2. Under the following circumstances leading to package return, return freight from the destination country to Hong Kong or Shenzhen will be borne by the shipper. Fastlink Logistics will automatically deduct relevant fees from the shipper's account (providing relevant bills):
Failed delivery due to incorrect address, and no handling instructions provided within FedEx's prescribed time limit.
Recipient refusal to sign for the package, exceeding FedEx's final processing time.
Contents prohibited or banned for import by the destination country's customs.
Unsuccessful customs clearance resulting in forced return by local customs.
Other return situations caused by the shipper or recipient.
3. When FedEx International Economy Express packages are returned from abroad, the local agent may arrange return via FedEx International Priority service under these conditions:
Recipient fails to complete customs clearance within the time limit set by local customs.
Customs decides to force a return, confirming the goods cannot be cleared for entry and are returned immediately.
Certain countries cannot arrange IE service, e.g., Russia.
Flight issues (return arranged via IP if economy class space is full).
Other currently undetermined factors.
4. In the above cases where local agents arrange returns via IP service, Fastlink Logistics will charge return freight based on the FEDEX invoice.
